Jailer: Will the Secretary of the Communications Department be pleased to state : (a) the number of occasions when commemoration stamps were issued during the last five years by the Government of India; (b) the dates on which they were issued and the dates when they were dicontinued; (c) the amounts Collected by Government by sale of these stamps giving details of amounts received f [...] The Honourable Sri C. Rajagopalaehari: That is the complaint which the licencees are making with reference to the Provincial Government's attitude and that is also the reason why the Government of India on account of thcommitments involved have refused to cancel licences already issued. [...] The Honourable Sri C. Rajagopalachari: In Madras to which the question relates mainly the hulk of the handloorn industry depends upon the supply of yarn from the mills that is to say from the textile inaustry which we are discussing. [...] *Seth Govind Das: (a) Will the Honourable Member for Industries and Supplies be pleased to state whether Government are aware of the strike by the employees of the office of the Director of Industries and Supplies Calcutta? [...] The Honourable Sri O. Rajagopalachari: Every step is taken but I believe the question is with reference to supply of surplus stores and I said I am _placing the required details on the table so that the time of the House may not be taken up in reading the whole list.
