For a brief statement of the causes of industrial unrest in the coalfields and of the measures taken to ally this unrest I would reftk the Honourable Member to my reply to the question No. [...] Ahmed E. H. Jailer: In view of the fact that the Chief Commissioner of Delhi has refused to give any land to the Members of this House because none is available will the Honourable Member consider the desirability of' making available the site (32 Ferozeshah :Road) where the barracks are now located and which I am sure will be demolished? [...] - Seth Govind Das: In view of the rich mineral resources of the Central Pivinces is it a fact that in the last conference it was pressed by the C. P. Miniters on the Government of India to help the province so that early steps may be taken to exploitthe mineral resources of the province? [...] The question of development of the mineral resources is however entirely a provincial subject and there the Governiment of India have no hand in the matter. [...] Mann Subedar: (a) Will the Secretary of the Works Mines and Power Department please state what is going to be the constitution of the Bureau of Mines which is proposed to be set up (b) How will it he linked with the Provinces and the States and have Goernment considered the question of having an Advisory Board attached to it?1676 LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY [11TH MAR.
