The Hon'ble Khwaja Sir NAZIMUDDIN: If the three cases in question are the same as I am thinking of it is more a case of insuordination at the time of the inspection by the Inspector-General of Prisons. [...] HARENDRA KUMAR SUR: Will the Hon'ble Minister be pleased to state whether the scheme for the expansion of the College is now under the consideration of the Government ? The Hon'ble Khwaja Sir NAZIMUDDIN: Yes Sir. [...] SURENDRA NATH BISWAS: (a) Is the Hon'ble Minister in charge of the Home Department awar(i) that the Hon'ble the Premier of the Punjab made a public statement to the effect that the Khaksars are agents of the enemies of this country; and (ii) that his statement has caused an apprehension in the minds of a large number of Muslims and Hindus of this province?1940.] QUESTIONS. [...] SURENDRA NATH BISWAS: My question is whether the Hon'ble Minister is aware of the fact that the Premier of the Punjab made a public statement to the effect that the Khaksars are agents of the enemy and if so may I enquire whether this Provincial Goverment has ascertained whether the activities of the Khaksars 'of Bengal are likely to endanger internal peace and tranquillity? [...] (d) If the answers to (b) and (c) are in the affirmative will the Hon'ble Minister be pleased to state the names of (1) the contribution to Tropical Medicine (2) the drugs discovered and (3) the British Medical authorities who appreciated these works?
