Das : Does the Honourable Member agree that the Secretary of State was guided by conscientious Indian opinion in coming to that decision and whether the 'Government of India agreed with the Secrtary of State in that opinion of his ? Ramaswami Aiyar : The Honourable Meber is entitled to assume that the actions of the Government and the Secrtary of State are infl [...] President is the choice of the Prime Minister and the Secretary of State and I have no doubt that those authorities who are responsible for the choice will remember the qualifications that are necessary and I trust that implications of the kind insinuations of the sort that have been made more than once on the floor of the House will be discontinued in the House in future.
