In spite of the fixation of the price of sugar the protection may not be able to help the industry. [...] The amount actually available to that body would be in the neighbourhood of 50 lakhs for the purpose of carrying on research and everything necessary for the purpose of improving the yield of the sugarcane and the yield of sugar from the cane particularly in these two provinces.
