as an Act of the Provincial Legislature assented to by the Governor but every such ordinance— (a) shall be laid before the Prqvincial Legislature and shall cease to operate at the expiration of six weeks from the reasonably of the Provincial Legilature or if before the expiration of that period resolutions disapproving it are passed by the Legislature upon the passing of the second of those [...] The provisions of the Government of India Act 1935 relating to the High Court should be adopted mutatis mutandis; but judges should be appointed by the President of the Federation in consultation with the Chief Justice of the Supreme - court the Governor of the Province and the Chief Justice of the High Court of thProvince (except when the Chief Justice of the High Court himself is to be appo [...] clause runs on the following lines :. the judges should be appointed by the 'President of the Federation in consutation with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court the Governor of the Province and the Chief Justice of the High Court of the Province (except when the Chief Justice of the High Court himself is to be appointed)." Sir we see thus by the manner provided in this clause we introd [...] I have given notice of an amendment in which'I suggested that instead of the Chief Justice of the High Court of the Province concerned' it must be the High „Court itself that should be consulted In-stead of the consultation being confined to the Chief Justice the constiltatrOn must be with the High Court. [...] However I would like..to Make this remark for the Drafing Committee that it is very desirable that the consultation should not be rest feted to the Ghief jjAticof the High Court but should be with the High Court as such agahat the matter May be considered by all the Judges of the High Court at the Judges Meeting and the result might be communicatftl to the authorities concerned.ups.
