Rai Bahadur Thakur Mashal Singh: Is the Government aware that lately two passengurs—ono in June and the other in November last—fell clown at the platform while getting out of the train at the Hardoi station and died of the injuries received in consequence of the train being moved to water the engine ? [...] Rai Bahadur Thakur Mashal Singh: Will the Government be pleased to ask the Railway Agent to issue instructions to the drivers of trains and the staff of the Hardoi railway station to the eilect that the engines should be detached from the trains if it is necessary to move them for the purpose of taking water from the water column and that the whole train should never be moved for this purp 'se ? T [...] (3) The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmativand to the second in the negative. [...] Rai Jagdish Prasad Sahib : (a) Has the attention of the Government been drawn to the fact that the number of Hindu deputy superintendents of police in this province is small ? (b) Will the Government be pleased to keep in view the claims of Hindus who form the majority of the population in the province when making future appointments in the cadre of deputy superintendents police ? (2) Is it also a fact that this amount was spent by the municipal board out of the Government grant to Ayurvedio dispensary for the year 1923-21 ?
