Rai Shankar Dayal Bahadur : Is it a fact — (a) That unserviceable articles of the office of the Director of Public Health were sold in the middle of November 1922 but the sale-proceeds had not been sent to the treasury up to the end of December ? If so will the Government be pleased to state the cause of delay ? (b) Is it a fact that on the sale of unserviceable articles receipts were not grante [...] Will the Government be pleased to lay on the Council table the students' grievances and the result of the inquiry arrived at ? The Hon'ble Mr. [...] (b) it was assumed that every elector to the Council of State to the Legislative Assembly and of the special constituencies of the Legisltive Council was also enrolled as an elector in a general conetttuency of the Legislative Council and would consequently receive a vote under the provisions of sections 200 and 201 of the District Boards Act. [...] The Hon'ble the President : The result of the nomination of ' canddates to the Standing Committee which the Government has decided to form for the purpose of advising the Hon'ble Minister upon such matters concerning the Municipal Local Self-Government and Medical depart. [...] The advantages which the Government derives from the tours of officers in the interior of the districts are minimized by the cost to Government by these tours and the trouble to which the people are put by them.
