Ram Narayan Singh: Will the Honourable Member for Railways and Communications be pleased to state the step or steps taken by the authorities concerned or in their contemplation to remove the grievances of the third class passengers of all Indian Raihvays with special reference to the overcrowding of the third class carriages of all the railway trains? [...] Ram Narayan Singh: Will the Honourable Member for Railways be pleased to state the income which accrued to the Indian Railways on account of the holding of the last annual session of the Indian National Congress at Haripura in the month of February last? [...] The Honourable Sir Thomas Stewart: (a) The Agent North Western Railway states that one or other of the two persons who so far as Is known are the proprietors of the Company is at all times present in India during the period of the contract and intimation is always given to the Administration as to which partner will be available during the season. [...] (b) Are Government aware that the celebration of Id-uz-Zuha depends upon the visibility of the moon and in other departments of Government either the holiday is allowed to depend on the visibility of the moon or is given for such a number of days as to cover the actual day? [...] In the case of the Post Office the holiday is allowed to depend on the visbility of the moon.
