most of the troubles which we have got in connection with taxation most of the troubles which we have got in the case of retrenchments and most of the things which we have got in the case of cuts in salaries—will all disappear and they can all be solved by one action and that is the reduction in our debt. [...] I shall probably have more occasion to discuss the details of this if my Resolution on this subject is hallotted but I would like to emphasize with all the force at my command that unless the Education Department of the Government of India coma to the rescue of the people and change the entire educational outlook the question of this unemployment cannot be solved and with the abnormal increase [...] I explained to the House in dealing with the question of the export of gold that out of the proceeds of the export of gold the Goernment had been able to acquire a very substantial sum of sterling.
