The arrangements for the embarkation of pilgrims are under the personal supervision of the Deputy Commissioner Port Police who is assisted by the Port Health Officer and his staff and also by the members of the Haj Committee Bombay. [...] I have go't here a letter from a member of the Haj Committee in which he speaks in the highest terms of the work of the police and of the assistance they give in the orderly embarkation of the pilgrims. [...] The answer to the latter part of the question is in the efirmative. [...] Lieut.-Oolonel Sir Henry Gidney: Will the Honourable Member inform the House whether the cost of the animals is dependent entirely on the nationality of the animal and whether the Lee Concessions given to the officers in charge of this department are dependent on this factor? [...] lives in the some building with a partner in the firm of the Shipping Brokers in Bombay and are government aware that on account of close association with the Shipping Brokers the Deputy_ Shipping Master is looked upon as a partner of the brokers by seamen in Bombay?
