3688P.—27th February 1931.—Wheras the Governor in Council is of opinion that the association at present known by the name of the Arambagh Civil Disobedience Committee alias Barodangal Congress office alias Sagar Kutir interfere with or have for their object interference with the administration of the law and with the maintenance of law and order; It is hereby declared by the Governor in Counc [...] 3689P.—27th February 1931.—Wheras in exercise of the powers conferred by susection (2) of section 1 of the Unlawful Assciation Ordinance 1930 (IX of 1930) the Goernor General in Council has by notification No. [...] dated the 11th Deceber 1930 extended the said Ordinance to the Presidency of Bengal; Now therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the said Ordinance the Governor in Council is hereby pleased to appoint 27th February 1931 as the date on which the said Ordinance (except sections 1 and 8 which are already in force) shall come into force in the subdivisio [...] the Hooghly district to be an unlawful assciation; And whereas the place specified hereafter is in the opinion of the Governor in Council used for the purposes of the said unlawful association ; Now therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by susection (1) of section 3 of the Unlawful Association Ordinance 1930 (IX of 1930) the Governor in Council is herby pleased to notify the sai [...] Printed at the Bengal Government Press Alipore and published by the Bengal Secretariat Book Depot Writers’ Buildings in the City of Calcutta on the the 27th February 1931.
