2. The Principal will proceed with the selection of candidates for admission into the various classes of the College as soon as the results of the University Examinations are published in the Calcutta Gazette. [...] Applications for admission to the Buddhist and Muhammadan hostels of the College should be made to the Superintendents of the hostels concerned on admission to the College. [...] 15 each a month will be awarded to the students of the 2nd year class and four scholarships to the students of the 3rd year class on the results of the annual examination of the 1st and 2nd year classes respectively of the previous year. [...] Students who pass the examination at the end of the 3rd year's course will receive a diploma entitled Associate of the Government Weaing Institute Serampore" and signed by the Principal of the Institute and the Director of Industries Bengal or his representative. [...] Applications for admission will be received immediately after the publication of the results of the Matriculation Examintion of the University of Calcutta.
