T.—Sth April 1948.—In exercise of the power conferred by section 6 of the Inland Steam Vessels Act 1917 (I of 1917) tond in supesession of all previous notifications on the subject the Governor is pleased to appoint the Secretary and Treasurer Imperial Bank of India Calcutta to be the officer to whom the fees referred to in that section shall be payable in respect of the survey of inland s [...] Marine Department Calcutta District to be the officer to whom the declarations of survey in respect of surveys of steam vessels at Calcutta which has been declared as the place of survey in West Bengal under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of setion 4 of the said Acteshall be sent by the owners or masters of the steam vessels. [...] 1540J.-- 30th March 1948.—In exercise of the power conferred by section 65 of the Bengal Village Self-Government Act 1919 (Bengal Act V of 1919) the Governor is pleased to appoint the following members of the union boards mentioned below within the Katwa sudivision of the Burdwan district to be during their term of office as such members union benches within the jurisdiction of the said un [...] 5M-17/47.-2nd April 1948.—In execise of the power conferred by paragraph 2 of Article 9 of the India (Adaptation of Existing Indian Laws) Order 1947 the Governor is pleased to direct that the members specified in the schedule below shall constitute the Council to be called the West Bengal Council of Medical Registration as references to which all references to the Council in the Bengal Medica [...] On behalf of the Company it was contended that the cases of these workers were covered by the 4..tanding Orders which had already been adopted by the Company under Act XX of 1946 and which were confirmed by the award of the Tribunal in the case between the Company and their workers already referred to.
