too Purchase of loafs or multiples thereof can be purchased on payment of the amount due :— in the form of Promissory Notes (a) Without formal application at the head offices or any Indian branch of the at Banks and Banks of Bengal Bombay and Madras and Government Offices. [...] too or multiples thereof on Purchase of loan in payment of the amount due from the Public Debt Office Calcutta direct or through any of the form of Stock the following offices:— at Government (a) Office of the Controller of Currency Calcutta Deputy Controller of Currency Offices and Banks. [...] Applicants who tender War Bonds in payment must transfer such Bonds to Goverment (a) in the case of Promissory Notes by endorsing these with the words Pay to the Governor-General in Council " over their signature and (b) in the case of stock by signing the form of transfer deed on the back of the Stock Certificate before a witness. [...].)0 NoTs.—If War Bonds are tendered they should be endorsed with the words " Pay to the GovernoGeneral in Council " over the signature of the applicant if they are in the form of Promissory Notes ; and the transfer deed on the back should be signed by him before a witness if they are in the form of Stock Certificates. [...] Ito the said rules the following shall be substituted namely:— (12) Such of the second and third class Sardars df the Deccan of the second class Sardars of Gujarat and of the Mehwasi Chieftains in the Bombay Presidency as were exempted under the Indian Arms Rules 1909 and Mehubhan Fattesing Gumansing the Chieftain of Chikali."
