Whereas by Section thirty-five of the Government of India Act 1919 it is enacted that His Majesty by Order in Council may make provision for the appointment of a High Commissioner for India in the United Kingdom and for the pay pension powers duties and conditions of employment of the High Commissioner and of his Assistants and provide for delegating to the High Commissioner any of the power [...] 5.
