[...] 823-S.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Indian Post Office Act 1898 (VI of 1898) the Governor-General in Council is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in the rules published with the Notification of the Government of India in the Department of Commerce and industry No. [...] 1 have the honour to submit for the information of the Government of India the Annual Report of the Patent Offiee during the calendar year 192o. [...] in consequence of the continued increase in the work of the office and in spite of the utmost efforts of the overburdened staff the work has unavoidably fallen into arrear. [...] The first of these extends the duration of the Temporary Rules Act (VI of 1915) and the second enables India to become a party to the Reciprocal Arrangement within the Empire for the Provsional protection of inventions.
