The Bonds in the form of Promissory Notes in denominations of R. too or multiples thereof can be purchased on payment of the amount due-- (a) Without formal application at the local head offices or at any Indian branch of the Imperial Bank of India. [...] In the Cabe of ptirchirett of kenfitiei 'sit the local head offices of the ImPerlal Bank of India at Calcutta Bombay or Motives the cheques should be drawn in favour of the Secretary and Treaiurer. [...] Applications may be in the form attached hereto (Form A) or in any other form which states clearly the amount and description of securities required the full name and address of the applicant and the treasury or sub-treasury at which he desires that interest shall be g. The Bonds in the form of Stock or Promissory Notes can be purchased in deitOmtuitions 'of Rs. [...] Applicants who tender War Bonds in payment must transfer such Bonds to Goverment (it) in the case of Promissory Notes by endorsing these with the words Pay to the Governor-General in Council " over their signature and (b) in the ease of Stock by signing the form of transfer deed on the back of the Stock Certificate before a witness. [...] Applications for Stock or Promissory Notes will also be received at the London Office of the Imperial Bank of India 2 Prince's Street E. C. 2 on payment in sterling of the nominal value of the bonds applied for at the rate for telegraphic transfer on Calcutta on the date of payment.
