124.—In pursuance of the provisions of section 67 sub-section (6) of the Goverment of India Act the Governor-General has been pleased to consent to the following alteration made by the Council of State in the Standing Orders relating to that Chamber published with the Government of India Legislative Department Notification No. [...] W.--In exercise of the powers conferred by the Indian Post Office Act 1898 (VI of 1898) the Governor-General in Council is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the rules issued with the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Commerce and Industry No. [...] 2883-45 dated the s6th April 1913 namely :— For clause (b) of rule 145 of the said rules the following shall be substituted namely :— (b) The Registrars of the Universities of Calcutta 1 Madras Bombay Allahabad Patna Rangoon and the Punjab provided that the articles posted by them relate solely to the public business of the Universities."PART II ] THE BURMA GAZETTE DECEMBER toTH 1991.
