" Will Government lay on the table copies of— (a) the Report of the Committee on the Re-organisation of the Medical Services in India ; and (Ii) the despatch of the Government of India on the above Report to the Secretary of State for India? [...] The reply to the questions asked by the Hon'ble Member is therefore in the negative." The Hon'ble Sir Dinshaw Wacha asked :— " What recommendations if any have been made iu the Report on the Re-organisation of the Medical Services in India to satisfy the aspirations of the Indian Medical profession towards a larger share in the Military Civil Scientific Educational and Sanitary Posts in the [...] But in this connection I should like in the first place to draw the attention of the Council to the wording of the Resoltikn:-H This Council recommends to the Governor General in Council.that Simla ?ffould cease to be the summer headquarters of the Punjab Government. [...] Sir may I say one word with regard to the constant introduction into this Council of the quality of the Punjab citizens and the quality of the rest of the citizens of India ? We are all proud of the bravery of the martial races inhabiting the Punjab. [...] on the one hand by the removal of the Vontie from the administrative charge of the Punjab Government and on the other by the ittipending opening of the railway will not again arise and public opinion will not therfor be so generally favourable to the change ; while the cut of removal trill tend to 1.wcome greater if not insurmountable since the tunjab Government is constantly adding to the
