5 OF 1953 In pursuance of sub-clause (a) of clause (iii) of the Supplmentary Instrument of Accession executed by His Highness the Mir of Khairpur on the thirteenth day of November 1952 and accepted by His Excellency the Governor-General on the tenth day of January 1953 the Governor-General is pleased to make the following Order :— 1.—(1) This Order may be called the Khairpur (Federal Short ti [...] APRIL 21 1953 (c) any reference to the whole of Pakistan or of British India shall be deemed to include a reference to Khairpur State ; (d) any reference to any Province or Provinces of Pakistan shall be deemed to include a reference to Khairpur State ; and (e) any reference to any Provincial Government shall be deemed to include a reference to the Government of Khairpur State. If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Order the Central Government may by order make such provisions or give such directions as appear to it to be necessary for the removal of the difficulty. [...] --In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (b) of clause (iii) of the Supplementary Instrument of Accession executed by His Highness the Mir of Khairpur on the 13th November 1952 and accepted by the Governor-General on the 10th January 1953 the Governor-General is pleased to direct that the executive authority of the Federation in respect of the laws mentioned in the Khairpur (Federal L [...] 5 of 1953) which relate to matters enumerated in items 36 and 59 in Part I of the Schedule appended to the said Supplementary Instrument of Accession shall be exercised in the Khairpur State either directly by officers of the Central Government appointed in this behalf by the Central Government or otherwise by other officers or authorities appointed in this behalf by the Central Government.
