Under paragraph 3 of that notification the Central Government in exercise of the powers under section 10 (3) of the Industrial Disputes Act prhibited the " continuance of the strike or lock-out in connection with the dispute aforesaid which is in existence on the date of this notification ". 4. [...] With regard to the question whether the employees are entitled to wages the answer would depend on the answer to the question whether the lock-out was occasioned by an unfair labour practice or misconduct on the part of the employer. R. 1(60)151-IL—In pursuance of sub-section (2) of sectieh 15 of the Industrial Disputes Act 1947 (XIV of 1947) the Government of Pakistan is pleased to declare that the preceding award shall be binding within the terms of section 18 of the said Act and shall remain in force for a period of one year with effect from the date of the award.
