F. 57-11153-Cons.—Under Rule 43 of the Constituent Assembly Rules the President of the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan has been pleased to order the publication in the Gazette of Pakistan of the folloing Bill together with the Statement of Objects and Reaions relating thereto and the Bill with the Statement of Objects and Reasons is accoringly published :— C. A. P. BILL No. [...] (1) In the exercise of his functions the Governor shall have the following special responsibilities that is to say :- (a) the prevention of any grave menace to the peace or tranquillity of the Province or any part thereof ; (b) the safeguarding of the legitimate interests of the members of the public services in the Province ; (c) the securing of the peace and good goverment of the Province ; [...] (1) If it appears to the Governor that the peace or tranquillity of the Province is endangered by the operations of any persons committing or conspiring preparing or attempting to commit crimes of violence which in the opinion of the Governor are intended to overthrow the goverment as by law established the Governor may if he thinks that the circumstances of the case require him so to do [...] 12 1953 (5) The functions of the Governor under this section shall be exercised by him in his indvidual judgment but he shall not exercise any of his powers thereunder except with the cocurrence of the Governor-General ; Provided that if it appears to the Governor that it is impracticable to obtain in time the concurrence of the Governor-General he may promulgate an Ordinance witout th [...] " 6. In the Third Schedule to the said Act to sub-pargraph (1) of paragraph 1 after the entry relating to the Governor of Sind the following shall be added at the end namely :— " The Governor of Baluchistan 54 000 rupees ". Amendment 7. In the Fifth Schedule to the said Act to the Table of Fifth of Seats after the entries relating to Sind the following Schedule new entries shall be added
