2.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 9 of the Stamp Act 1899 (II of 1899) the Central Government is pleased to remit the stamp duty chargeable on the deed executed by or on behalf of the Burmah Oil Company Limited Karachi purporting to transfer to the Central Government certain shares in the State Bank of Pakistan of the value of Rs.
