—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14 and 15 and the proviso to section 357 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898 (Act V of 1898.) the Governor is pleased— (a) to confer upon Maulvi Syed Nazra Moslem the powers of a Magistrate of the second class in the district of the 24-Pargnas for a period of three years from the 5th August 1939 in respect to such cases as may be made over [...] setions 14 and 15 and the proviso to section 357 of the Code 'bf Criminal Procedure 1898 (Act V of 1891 the Governor is please-4.1.: (a) to confer upon Babu Rama Sankar Prosad the powhrs of a Magistrate of the second class in the district of Darjeeling for aperiod of three years from the llth August 1939 in respect to such cases as may be mad?' over to him within the limits of the Sede [...] 253 dated the 9th December 1902 for the line of navigation (approximately 4 870 feet in length) comonly known as the Halifax Cut connecting the river Madhumati with the river Nabaganga in the Narail subdivision of the district of Jessore and passing through the villages of Telkora and Bordia in the said subdivision is published for the information of persons likely to be affected thereby.
