Med1.2080 /N-9 50.12th May 1950.—ln exercise of the powers conferred by section 33 of the Bengal Nurses Act 1934 (Bengal Act X of 1934) the Governor is pleased to make the foloWing amendments in the rules published with the notification No. [...] prepared an electoral roll in the following manner namely (a) a copy of the annual list of registered nurses midwives and health visitors shall be corrected to the date just preceding the date appointed by the Returning Officer by eliminating names of those persons whose address as last reported is outside West Bengal. [...] It shall be clearly stated in the letter that 579"880 THE CALCUTTA GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY MAY 13 1950 t the names of all those peitons whose replies ere' not received within the date appointed by the Returning Officer and whose replies although received within such date do not fulfil the requirements shall be omitted from the list ; (b) the list thuS corrected shall form the 'draft electoral r [...]. Any objection filed within this period shall be examined and decided by the Returning Officer and his decision shall be final; and. (c/ the draft electoral. roll shall be corrected in accordance with the decision of the Returning Officer and the roll thus corected Shall be the final electoral roll.
