S. 1033 The Gazette of Pakistan PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY KARACHI FRIDAY DECEMBER 12 1952 PART IV Notifications and Notices issued by the Patent Office THE PATENT OFFICE PATENTS AND DESIGNS Special Notice Karachi the 12th December 1952 ASSIGNMENT A Notice was issued in Part IV of the Gazette on August the 8th 1952 stating that the power of amendment given by Section 17 of the Patents and Design [...] Nevertheless the Office recognizes the desirability of permitting the assignee of an invention to proscute the Patent Application and to receive the grant. [...] The Application Form used will be one of the existing series according to the circumstances and will include the following additional information :— (i) After the title of the invention in item (i) of the Application Form insert the folloing :— That I am (or we are) in possession of the said invention by virtue of an assigment dated made between myself (or ourselves) as assignee on the one [...] (ii) Immediately prior to the final prayer clause insert the following :— I (or we) humbly pray that by virtue of the above-mentioned assignment this applcation may be accorded the date namely the official date accoded to the original application and (e) The original deed of assignment authorizing B to prosecute the application and receive the grant should be submitted for inspection tg [...] by substituting therefor the further Dated this Application Form in the name of day of 19 (Signed) hereunto annexed and for consequential amendment to be made to the applicant's name appearing on the specification and drawings in respect of the aforesaid Application.
