Nevertheless the Office recognizes the desirability of permitting the assignee of an invention to proscute the Patent Application and to receive the grant. [...] The Application Form used will be one of the existing series according to the circumstances and will include the folloing additional information :— (i) After the title of the invention in item (i) of the Application Form insert the folloing :— That I am (or we are) in possession of the said invention by virtue of an assignment dated made between myself (or ourselves) as assignee on the one [...] (ii) Immediately prior to the final prayer clause insert the following :— I (or we) humbly pray that by virtue of the abovementioned assignment this appliction may be accorded the date namely the official date accorded to the orginal application and (e) The original deed of assignment authoriing B to prosecute the application and receive the grant should be submitted for inspection toge [...] I (or we) ( 101 )102 THE GAZETTE OF PAKISTAN DECEMBER 19 1952 [PART IV seek leave to amend the Application Form of my (or our) application for Patent No Dated by substituting therefor the further Application Form in the name of hereunto annexed and for consequential amenment to be made to the applicant's name appearing on the specification and drawings in respect of the aforesaid Application. [...] Sealing will be dlayed until the last day and the actual substitution of the new Application Form and consequential amendment to the name in the Specification and Drawings if any will be effected in he office but not until the last day unless the applicant requests otherwise.
