D.—The 17th October 1919.—In exercise of the Council power conferred by clause (a) of Regulation XI of the. Regulations for the nomination and election of Additional Members of the Legislative Council of the Governor of Fort William in Bengal His Excellency the Governor is pleased to nominate Mr. [...] This declaration is made under the.provisions of section 6 of Act I of 1894 to all whom it may concern: A plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the Collector of Burdwan. [...] as amended by the Bengal Municipal (Amendment) Act 1896 (Bengal Act IF of 1896) the Governor in Council is pleased to make the following rules for the guidance of the Commissioners of Municipalities in matters connected with the carrying out of the purposes specified in clauses (iv) and (v) of sub-section (1) of section 69 of the said Act. [...] The managing committee shall— deal with all schemes of development; (ii) control the award of _free studentships; consider the annual report of the school before submission to the Commissioners of the Municipality ; and (iv) The members of the committee shall have power to visit the school informally so as not to interfere with the working of the school and to record their opinions in the visitors [...] The head teacher shall carry on the current business of the scln in accordance with the rules of the Education Department and shall bring matters of importance to the notice of the managing committee.
