8922P.-20th November 1941.—In exercise of the power conferred by sub-seetion (5) of section 2 of the Defence of India Act 1939 (XXXV of 1939) the Governor is pleased to direct that in the notifications specified in the first column of the schedule hereto anneed the amendment specified in the second column of the said schedule shall be made :— The Schedule. [...] dated the 3rd dated the 11th dated the 7th After the words The Commissioner of Police" in the second column of the schedule add the words "and all Deputy Commissioners of Police" No. [...] IV of 1941) the Governor is pleased to constitute an Air Raid Precautions Service for the whole of the Darjeeling Municipality within the policstations of Sudder and part of Jore Bungalow in the district of Darjeeling and to appoint the Deputy Commissioner of Darjeeling to be the Controller of the said Air Raid Precautions Service. [...] In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (b) and (c) of sub-section (1) of section 62 of the Calcutta Police Act 1866 (Bengal Act IV of 1866) and with the previous santion of the Governor the Commissioner of Police Calcutta makes the following amenment in the Rules for the Regulation of Traffic etc. [...] After the first sentence in the second suparagraph of rule 20(b) add the following :— The appointment of the Manager shall be subject to the veto of the Commisioner of the Division and shall be notified by him in the Calcutta Gazette".
