It is hereby notified for general information that the Government of Bengal (Ministry of Education) are pleased to order that with effect from the commencement of the session 1905-36 the Bethune College Calcutta salt; be affiliated to the Calcutta University in Elments of Civics and Economics to the I. A. Standard and in Political Economy and Poltical Philosophy to the B. A. (Honours) Sta [...] Mlle examination of teachers of vernacular subjects and oriental classical languages of the same schools will also be held on the same (late and at the same place 'W. [...] 2. The following teachers are eligible for the examination :— (a) Teachers of English subjects who have passed (i) the Matriculation or some higher University Examination or (ii) the Middle English Scholarship Examination or the teminal examination at the end of the middle stage of instruction. [...] (b) Teachers of vernacular subjects who have passed: the same examinations or the Middle Vernacular Scholarship Examination or the terminal examination at the end of the middle stage of instruction. [...] The examination in the case of these classes of teachers will be conducted either in English or vernacular at the option of the candidate.
