Rules for the admission of private candidates for the Calcutta University Matriculation Examination of 1942 to the Preliminary Test Examination to be held under the orders of the undersigned. [...] The candidates intending to deposit the fees with the office of the undesigned direct are advised to credit their fees in any of the Government Treasuries of this Division under the head XXVI-E (General) —Miscellaneous—Examination charges" and to annex the duplicate chalan to their applcation which however should reach the office of the undersigned by the date precribed above. [...] The results of the Test Examination will be published in the Notice Board of the office of the undersigned as well as in those of the schools where candidates will appear for their Test Examination. [...] 6. Applications With the countersignature of the undersigned together with the fees for the above examinations must reach the office of the Controller of Examinations Calcutta University on or before the date to be fixed by the University and must be sent to that office by the candidate himself direct. [...] The examination will consist of eight papers each of four hours' duration and carrying 100 marks on the subject of the Honours Course as detailed below and three papers on each of two subsidiary subjects to be selected with the approval of the Head of the Department of Bengali.
