ORDERED that copy of the Resolution With a copy of the Report As published be forwarded to the Governments of Bombay Bengal Bihar and Orissa the Punjab and the United Provinces to the Hon’ble the Chief Commissioner of the Central Provinces the Hon’ble the Chief Commissioner Chief and Agent to the Governor General North-West Frontier Province the Chief Commissioner of Delhi the Depar [...] The policy to be adopted for the new season was considered at a Conference held in Simla on the 18th April and in view of the almost normal level of Indian prices and the diminished requirements of the Home Government it was decided to recommend the discontinuance of the scheme of Government purchase and the re-opening of private export with limited allotments to shippers.
