(c) The transfer certificates granted to them by the authorities of the schools in which they studied last and the Registrar’s receipt for the fee paid in the case of those candidates who previously appeared at the Entrance or the Matriculation Examination must be sumitted in original along with the application for permission to appear at the Test Examintion. In accordance with section 9 Chapter XV of the revised regulations dealing with the registration of University students candidates who intend to appear at any of the ensuing examinations of the University of Calcutta otherwise than as students of affiliated institutions and who have applied for or have obtained the special permission of the Senate for the purpose are required to apply to th [...] 5. Applications with the countersignature of the undersigned and fees for admission to the above examinations must reach the office of the Registrar on or before the dates tone fixed by the University and must be sent to that office by the candidates direct. [...] The Inspector of Schools will then countersign the applications of those candidates who pass the test and forward them to the candidate direct for transmission to the Registrar with the fees for the examination.
