17.—The Chief Commissioner is pleased to invest B. Gopalaiengar Amildar and 3rd Class Magistrate of the Manjarabad Taluk with the powers of a Magistrate of &lice under the provisions of Act XIII of 1859 (an Act to provide for the punishment of breaches of contract by artificers workmen and laborers in certain cases). [...] 18.—In the absence' on account of the summer vacation of the undermentioned Munsiffs who are also Sub-Registrars of the Sub-Districts mentioned opposite their names the Chief Commissioner is pleased to authorize as a temporary measure the Andldars of the respective taluks to which the SuDistrict or a portion thereof belongs to perform the registration work of the respective SuDistricts [...] C. Madaiya Assistant Commissioner resumed charge of the Hassan District Treasury on the forcnoon of the 1st instant from Mr. [...] 13 of the 17th April 1879 the unexpired portion of the leave is cancelled.
