Opposite the western border of taluka liihlu the State boundary which has followed the crest of the range is deflected to the south as far as the eastern end of the Hathi Dhar and from this point to the Ravi the Dhaula Dhar is wholly in State territory. [...] The greater part of the tract between the Hathi Dhar and the Dhaula Dhtir is in the Bias Valley and vt ith the addition of a small portion of the lower Ravi Valley forms the Bhattiyat Wizdrat which in proportion to is size is the rnt-At populous and fertile sub-division of the State. [...] Range which gradually declines and finally ends on the Ravi opposite Chhatrari from whence the line of separation is continued by the Chirchind Nalti to the Dhaula Dhar ; the other is the Silo Range which comes to an end in the fork at the junction of the Ravi and the Siul the line being prlonged to the Dhaula Mir by the Chi! and Btilatop Spur. [...] [PART A. The portion of the State to the south of the Dbaula Dhar is as already stated within the basin of the Bias and is drained by two small tributaries of that river the Chakki and the Dairh. [...] The Ravi is pre.eminently the river of the Chamba State and with its tributaries drains the whole of the Chamba Valley Proper between the Dhaula Dhar and the PAngf Range.
