But if the Leader of the House can give the House an assurance here to- day that the report of the Committee will be available to the House well in time for its consideration, and deci- sion during the next session of Parlia- ment or during the adjourned session, in case the session is going to be ad- journed, in case such a definite, speci- fic and categorical assurance is forth-, coming from the [...] The real question of the breach of privilege of the House, if any, will arise after the definite find- ings of the committee are known. [...] the Leader cf the House, if the motion is adopted, will be a Committee appointed by the House under the direction of the Speaker. [...] the dignity of the House, the decisions of the House are of a 'higher level than the decisions of the Speaker or any other authority . functioning under the House. [...] the Speaker may, from time to time, issue such directions to the Chairman of the Committee, as he thinks necessary for regulating the procedure and organisation of the work of the Committee. " The motion was adopted.
