REPORT OF THE WORK OF THE BA SHEEP AND SEED FARM FOR 191 A description of the farm and a statement of the purposes for which it has been opened are given in the appendix to this report. [...] The results are in accordance with previous results and bear out the theory that the black and the white-faced types are pure, and that the black-faced is a heterozygote. [...] 1 t then flaws parallel to and south of this reserve, cuts through the middle of the second reserve, flows to the north of the third reserve, enters the fourth reserve at its north-east corner and leaves it at its south-west corner. [...] A stream which carries off surface drainage water and is therefore dry for part of the year. 4 As the tree and grass growth were best in the first four reserves and the prospects of a permanent supply of water most promising there, it was decided to use them for the sheep farm and Gummanur north-east reserve for the seed farm. [...] From February to May inclusive the flocks toe grazed on the cultivated lands of the village, after the harvest of the crops and from June to February they are grazed on the waste lands.
