Turning- front the prevention of disease to the other main branch of Veterinary work, namely horse, tattle and cattle bre,ding, the Chief Cormnissiuiu thinks that the Superiatendent has been working on sound lines in endeavouring to attract the interest of District litards towards Veterinary matters and in arrang- ing for the attendance of the Inspectors of the D-iparttnent at meetings of these [...] 5. The most noteworthy feature of the Veterinary work of the year has been the revival of the interest of District Boards in cattle breeding. [...] If the work be continued on the same lines and interest in it not allowed to decline there is every reason to hope for an improvement in the stamp of cattle in the Province, which will be of the greatest economic importance in the develop. : yrrent of its agriculture. [...] As usual durina- the course of his tour the Superintendent interviewed the Revenue Commissioner and District Officers regarding Veterinary matters and inspected all the District Boards and Government stallions and most of the bulls in the Province.
