The most noteworthy feature of the Veterinary work of the year has been the revival of the interest of District Boards in cattle breeding. [...] If the work be continued on the same lines and interest in it not allowed to decline there is every reason to hope for an improvement in the stamp of cattle in the Province, which will be of the greatest economic importance in the develop. : yrrent of its agriculture. [...] As usual durina- the course of his tour the Superintendent interviewed the Revenue Commissioner and District Officers regarding Veterinary matters and inspected all the District Boards and Government stallions and most of the bulls in the Province. [...] At the close of the year the total number of cows and calves in the herd was 22.
