It is stated in the Statement of Objects and Reasons for the Bill that under the forgery section of the Indian Penal Code as in the corresponding 'English section it is on the prosecution to prove that the note is forged. [...] No affidavit of danger was filed with the application or in support thereof brrt it wan stated by the counsel for the Applicant that it was very usual and the common practice for the Court to make an order that the taxed costs to be paid to the solicitors of the party by whom judment has been secured should be done on the understanding that the solicitors would undertake to repay the same in [...] In this case the present Appellant had presented petition on the Original Side of the High Court asking for the removal of the mother of the minor from her position of guardian of his person and -prperty and for the substitution of himself in her place. [...] A decree was passed therein declaing that the Defendant was married to the Plaintiff and ordering that the Plaintiff do get possession of the Defendant as his wife that the Defendant do go to the house of the Plaintiff after six months from the date of the decree and that if the Defendant do not go to the house of her husband the Plaintiff should be competent to execute the decree against he [...] A writer in an American paper says that the early Chinese "green-backs" were in all essentials similar to the modern bank-notes bearing the name of the bank date of issue the number of the note the signature of the official using it indications of its value in figures in words and in the pictorial rpresentation in coins or heaps of coins equal in amount to its face value and a notice of
