The silence of the learned Chief Justice with regard to this all-important point is perhaps due to the fact that there was no dispute in the case as regards the publication of the incriminating articles or the itention of the accused that they should be read. [...] On application by the Local Government for revsion of the case of Queen-Empress v. Hori on the ground that the order of the Court below for the detention in 'a reformatorschool of a Dalera is illegal being opposed to the rules framed by the Government' under the Reformatory Schools Act. [...] The arbitrator found that the claim on the loss of the machinery and the Intimated amount of such loss were fraudulent means and devices tised by the Secretary unknown to the proprietor. [...] This was a rule obtained by the Petitioner on the 3rd of May 1899 against the order of the Deputy Magistrate of Perozepur dated the 31st day of January 1899 which order was on appeal to the Sessions Judge of Backergunge modified on the 28th of February 1899. [...] The Petitioner prayed for a rule to issue on the Directors of the said Company to skew cause why they should not register the transfer of the share in the books of the Company and enter the name of the Petitioner in the register of share-holders and members and give him the status and privileges of a share-holder and member.
