The committee of the Newspaper Society after considering not only the answers but also the reasons given for them unanimously pissed the following resolution :— That the Newspaper Society having taken the opinion of its members is not favourable to any change in the present condition of the law with reference to copyright in news and especially disapproves of clause 12 in the present Bill." [...] The three suits related to the recovery of possesion of several plots or chucks of land which had in 1853 belonged to PlaintiffAppellants but had been diloviated by the action of the river Padilla and the question was whether the three sets of PlaintiffAppellants had succeeded in establishing the identity of the chueks claimed. [...] The Appellant on the 18th July 1898 (see 2 C: W. N. p. eclxxxiii) obtained from Her Majesty in Council special leave to appeal against such decision of the High Court Thereafter the Appellant the present Petitioner 'petitioned the High Court stating that the estate in question WAN in the possession of the manager under the Encumbered Estates Act for the liquidation of the debts of the Baja [...] 608 C. P. C. that the 'Court may be pleased to order that the manager shotiktremain in possession of the estate until the final adjudication on the appeal to lier Majesty in 'Council or until the Respondent furnished security to the satisfaction of the Court for the fulfilment of any order that mighDe made by Her Majesty in Council. [...] This was a rule obtained by the Petitioner on the 8th of May 1899 against the order of the :Honorary Magistrate of Tangail dated the 4th of February 1809.ranting sanction for the prosecution of the Petitioner under sec.
