The remittance of land revenue was made in sufficient time to reath the Cuttack Collectorate before the kiat and it was through the negligence of the Post Office in having remitted same to the Balasore Treasury that resulted in the delay and led to the sale of the estate and the Post Office cannot certainly claim exemption from liability as common carriers.
