It is almost J. WOrk of supererogati.on to say that it will be found to be of the greatest utility to the Bench and the Bar sill over India. The author deserves the highest praise for the care and diligence which marks the book throughout. [...] The effect of the Limitation Acts 1833 and 1874 is in my opinion that after the exptration of the statutory period of 20 and 12 years respectively all the rights which the reversioflers would have had in respect of the land have come to an end and I do not think that it. [...] The parties claiming the said sum were the said trustees on the one hand claiming for the estate of the deceased ladies and the subscribers on the other. [...] The innnoveable properties were subsequently partitioned tinder a decree in the parttion suit but the sons continued to be joint with regard to the Government Promissory Notes and the sum in deposit at the Bank of Bengal which had all along remained in the name of the deceased. [...] The Munsif dismissed the Plaintiff's suit holding that the notice which the Plaintiff had served through the Collector upon the Defendant was invalid in law and the Subordinate Judge came to the conclusion that inasmuch as the notice did not specify the area of the land held by the tenants or the amount of rent paid by them and as the notice was a joint-notice to the several tenants it was bad in
