At the desire of the Appellant the Chief Court of the Punjab by order dated the 13th January 1896 transferred the case for trial from the Court of the 222"VOL. [...] On the 22nd January 1896 the Appellant applied to the said Chief Court to set aside the said warrant of arrest and the proceedings taken in pursuance thereof orrthe ground inter ilia that the arrest of the Appellant a native of Hyderabad in the terrtories of His Highness the Nizam was illegal.
