We refer to the schemes for the partition of Bengal and the extension of the jurisdiction of the Presidency Small Cause Court. [...] The number of cases pending in the Insolvency Court at the commencement of the year was 211 and the number instituted during the year was 201. [...] In a suit by Goodall for damages for illegal distress it was held that the Board was responsible for the illegal acts of their secretary although their might not have been a resolution of the Board directing the secretarys to obtain the warrant the Board having accepted the amount realised by the sale which was brought about by the secretary in the ordinary course of his emplotalent and in [...] Mrs Evans controlled the business and had the right to require the other two partners to devote the whole of their time to the business The question arose under cl 22 of their agreement it contained inter alia the expresion "being guilty of any flagrant breach of any of the duties of a partner " and upon such conduct Mrs. [...] As for the argment on the balance of convenience that was as was the justice of the case for the non-interference of the Court on behalf of Plaintiff.
