The Government can do much to alleviate their sufferings by relaxing the rigour of the law and practice regarding bail and by impressing on magistrates and judges the modern view of law in this respect We need hardly repeat here that the object of bail is to ensure the attendance of under-trial prisoners and that its refusal for any punitive purposes or in the absence of any likelihood of the pe [...] Now you will not be surprised that in these fateful events which meant so much for the welfare of the world and in which the lawyers took a very great part these Inns of Court contributed their quota ; and that there were five of the signers of the Declaration of Independence who had been bred to the law in the Middle Temple and three of the framers and signers of the Constitution of the Uni [...] This appears to be the reason that induced the author in successive editions to insert in full the numerous circular orders and 'notifications of the High Courts the Government of India and the Local Govertitnerifs. [...] (2) That the formalities essential to the exercise of the right of pre-emption were not duly observed inasmuch as the names of all the purchasers wore not specified at the tune of proclaiming the Plaintiff's right. [...] The Meinsif rejeced the application but in appeal the District Judge of Patna reversed the order of the Mensif and ordered the document th he sent to the Registrar for registration.
