The Court of Wards may on the assumption of the management accept it conditionally on the solvency of the estate and may at the very outset take the necessary steps to bring in all the creditors turd if necessary try to compound with them. [...] The necessity for the consent of the sapindas arises by reason of the icapacity of a woman to act on her own account and not because the adoption may have the effect of defeating the rights of those whose consent is sought. [...] It was not the negligent return of the certificate to the transferor that was the direct cause of the Plaintiff's damage but the improper use made of the same. [...] The damages awarded were the result of the falling of a chimney upon a guest in one of the Company's newly acquired public houldt The Appellants contended that they had a legs right to deduct the amount so paid from their profits for the purposes of the Income-tax return. [...] On the other hand it was contended by the Defendants that although the decree for rent in execution of which the Ale took place was a decree obtained by a fractional landlord for his share of the rent yet as the Plaintiff was not the recorded tenant her interest was affected by the execution sale and was transferred thereby to the purchaser Defendant.
