The learned writer believes that the influence of Buddhism and the Buddhistic kings in Bengal up to the XIth century of the Christian era and the facilities of communication that have existed between Bengal and the outside world from early times through its mighty rivers flowing into the sea and the consequent commercial and civilizing influences over its people and the constant interchange of tho [...] If the Plaitiffs have sustained any loss or damage between the time when they reasonably expected a reply from the Defendants to the notice given to them on the 14th August and the date on which the Defendants iformed the bank of the forgery it might be said that the loss or damage was due to the Defendants' silence. [...] The question before the Court was whether the practice of the Court was to make the amendment on an application like the present or whether the issue of infancy should be tried prior to the granting of the application or whether the said issue should be tried as a substantive defence at the hearing of the suit. [...] The Will provided for the carrying on of the ceremonies of the muth of which Tulsidas was the Mohant by one Ramgopal Das who was the Petitioner for revocation.
