The flooring of the kitchen being out of repair the tenant and his wife threatened to leave the house but stayed on upon a promise by the agent of the landlord that the flooring would be repaired. [...] If any loss or damage accrued to the tenant for the landlords’ failure to perform his part of the contract the Ittndlord would be liable to the tenant but any other person a stanger to the cotract suffering any damage in consequence of the landlords’ failure has no cause of action against the landlord. [...] The orders complained of were in the following terms :- " Whereas notice in writing signed by Babu Ambica Charan Mozumdar as Chairman of the Reception Committee of the Faridpur District Conference has been given to the Superintedent of Police Faridpur of the intention to hold a public meeting in the Pandal on the North Bank of the Jubilee Tank in Faridpur town on the 13th instant at or about [...] The Petitioners also stated that the Ordinance had been 3stended to the Faridpur District by the LieutenanGovernor of Assam and Eastern Bengal on the 19th May 1907 and showed that on the 4th July 1907 the Magistrate had written to the first Petitioner that he had been directed to inform him that the exact terms of the resolutions which it was proposed to bring before the various meetings of th [...] The tenant agreed that he would give up possession of the land in the month of Jait 1313 B. S. Before the expiry of the lease the Petitioner (landlord) granted a lease of the land to another person at a rental of Rs.
